Who We Are

We are a small, Chicago-based firm of experienced trial and appellate lawyers who excel at defending our clients against civil liability claims, employment litigation and insurance coverage disputes. For over 20 years, we have defended insurers, corporations, non-profits and self-insured entities. We bring a commitment to providing the highest level of legal expertise and personal attention; which helps us turn clients into long-term partners and friends.

Founded in 1985 by Partner Gary Moore, the firm added Partner Darlene Strickland to its roster in 1996. Together, they have over 50 years of collective experience working in state and federal courtrooms and have tried over 75 cases to verdict. Our knowledge, experience and reputation affords us the ability to negotiate favorable settlements from a position of strength-and should a claim come to trial, few firms can match our depth of trial experience and record of results.

What We Do

We approach the journey through the maze of litigation as a partnership with our clients. Whether a corporation, insurer, nonprofit or municipal entity, we strive to understand each one's unique needs. We have had the privilege of defending our clients in a variety of claims, and have developed a particular expertise with high profile and complex personal injury litigation involving toxic tort, construction, assault, sexual abuse and products/medical device claims. We're also adept at handling multiple claim issues and overseeing national coordination of claim defense.
